SMU Student Gang Raped Last Year Speaks Out

Southern Methodist University and Norwegian exchange student Monika was walking with a group of friends after a party when she was abducted at gun point and raped by three men. One of the three men, Arturo Arevalo, 28, was convicted last week. I worked with Anders Giaever, a reporter with Norwegian paper Verdans Gang, and photographed Monika for a front page feature about her experience. "I don't want to be a 'victim' anymore," Monika said. "I dont like that word."
