Lindsey and I had our engagement photos taken by Dallas Morning News photographer Tom Fox, a Pulitzer Prize recipient. We took them at The Harbor in Rockwall on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard.

Van Buren, who has had eye sight issues since birth, is now almost completely blind. For a few hours on the weekend he plays in front of Jimmy's Food Store in East Dallas.
