Portrait of UT-Arlington's Dr. Purnendu Dasgupta

Dr. Purnendu Dasgupta, Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry, posed for a portrait in his lab at UT-Arlington with “An Ion Chromatograph for Extraterrestrial Explorations.” Dr. Dasgupta and his team have shrunk the open tubular ion chromatograph system to 3 kilograms.

Ride Shotgun on a 300mm f2.8 lens

While covering the Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram I used a GoPro camera to record a timelapse of myself shooting the game. I mounted it to the front end of my 33mm f2.8 lens and set it to take a photo every five seconds.
