Chickens, Roosters and City ordinances oh my

Jose Cardenas has been raising chickens and roosters on his property about 3 miles south of downtown Fort Worth since 1982. At one point he said he had about 500-600 foul, but now has around 200. The city considering limiting the number of roosters a homeowner can keep based on lot size in response to complaints about noise and cockfighting. I shot this a week ago, but just now had the time to post it. The 457th Fighter Squadron, 305th Rescue Squadron, were fulling their aircrew qualification training requirement for water survival and rescue on Lake Worth Sunday, July 11, 2010. The squadron participated in the rescue of hundreds of people from New Orleans in the after math of Hurricane Katrina.
