I photographed Ramadan services at Dar El Eman Mosque in Arlington, Tx., for a story about how the Texas summer heat can make fasting and staying hydrated very difficult. Those who can not fast due to working outdoors or for medical reasons are encouraged to donate money to feed the needy.
